Student Comments:

“To the makers of StreetSage, I give
my congratulations.”
-Lauren, Student
“I feel the concept of StreetSage is extremely
innovative, creative and educational.”
-Eric, Student
"StreetSage provided a great start in
learning how the stock market works. It was extremely
effective in teaching how to purchase and sell stocks.
It presented a lot of tools in order to make these informed
decisions …the game was exhilarating at many points."
-Jane, Student
"StreetSage was a great experience. Investing
was simple and more realistic since the program was
very user-friendly.”
-Monica, Student
“The opportunity to look at stocks over
a simulated period of many years provided a good opportunity
to see the way the stock market really works for serious
investors rather than risky traders.”
-Nina, Student
"StreetSage is something that I would recommend
to those interested in the economics of the stock market
because it gives a very real look into the world of
investment."
-Rachel, Student
"This was a unique experience; I had never
before been able to experience a stock market game that
accounted for the benefits of long-term investments.
I feel that I have learned a great deal about investing."
-Lauren, Student
"StreetSage took an old concept and gave new life
to the tried and true idea of a faux stock market. Perhaps
it will come to the point where StreetSage is the fundamental
learning tool for stock market investing and I will
tell my grandchildren how I participated in the very
first StreetSage game. That would be an interesting
touch of fate."

Teacher Comments:
“My students did not need a lot of time
in class because they liked it so much that they did
it at home.”
-Joel, Math Teacher
“StreetSage was more realistic with commissions,
taxes, and the extended period of time.”
-Kim, Personal Finance Teacher
“I liked the extended time format. I
think it is important for students to understand that
they need to invest in the stock market for the long
term!”
-Jennifer, Economics Teacher
"I like the idea that I can see my students portfolios
and see their progress.”
-Mary, Business Teacher
“I received your “thank you”
card. I think it should be the other way around. So
I am writing this letter to thank you for honoring us
with the opportunity to take part in StreetSage. The
teachers, Ms. Moore and Ms. Chestnut, commented that
the students developed their own investing strategies
over the ten-week period. We hope to be able to make
StreetSage an integral part of our curriculum.”
-Sibel, Business Department Head
